Harley Davidson Donated $3.3 Million For Muscular Dystrophy in 2010

After hard work by corporate and their dealers, as well as vendors and supply companies, Harley Davidson gave a check to the Muscular Dystrophy Association for $3.3 Million Dollars over the Jerry Lewis Labor Day Telethon.  Harley presented a check to the MDA on behalf of so many people in the Harley family who worked hard over the past year of 2010 hosting charity rides and fund raisers on every level.

Efforts To Help MDA Pay Off

From vendors, to dealers, charity rides, everyone in the Harley family of motorcycles pitched in and was able to raise this much needed money to help kids with the terrible disease called Muscular Dystrophy.

Examples of some of the activities were dealer fund raising drives, motorcycle raffles, planned charity rides and riders themselves who went out of their way to raise money at work, from family and friends, as well as so many fun events throught the year.

Huge Fund Raisers

Harley dealers back east held an event called The Annual Ride For Life and raised a whopping $965,000 dollars for MDA in 2010. Many others across the country also came close by raising large amounts of money for the children struck with this disease.

During the 2010 year, so many dealers with rider clubs planned events where proceeds went to the Labor Day Telethon and the children. The only way we are going to cure this disease is with enough money to continue valuable research in finding a cure.

Help Find A Cure

Children touch the hearts of all of us, although there are many other worthy causes, so many children are struck with this disease and we can find a cure if we keep funding needed research.
