New Oakley Motorcycle Sunglasses

December 30, 2011 - 06:30 PM

Oakley recently announced it's new powersport line of Oakley sunglasses specifically designed for motorcycle riders. Oakley Eyewear is un-matched in clarity, safety and style, offering the ultimate in motorcycle eye protection. Oakley sunglasses protect your eyes from wind & harmful UV sun rays more than any other brand in the powersports industry.

Designed with motorcycle riders in mind, Oakley Wind Jacket sunglasses feature clear and warm smoke interchangeable lenses with removable gasket, reducing air flow across your eyes at high speeds. Switchlock™ Technology makes lens changing quick and easy, this interchangeable lens design allows for riding in any weather condition.

Oakley Split Jacket sunglasses feature Transitions® SOLFX™ lenses that adapt to changing light with photochromic technology.

Would like to see these with bifocals. Us old guys can't see the GPS.........

I concur with the previous comments, a 2 power
bifocal would be benefical. I am having a hard time understanding why anyone would pay $200.00 for a pair of sun glasses.

I concur with Jake... finding good cycle glasses with built in bifocals is a must. I had good luck with the Maui Jim readers because of the light weight frames where it doesn't pinch the ears, but as ususal... pricey

I also have to concur with Jake... I do a lot of traveling and being able to see the GPS is a must. These sunglasses are not worth $200.00 of my money, at the present I have been wearing a very comfortable, with no visual nor color distortion and UV protection for less than $50.00

Oakley TruDigital lenses can be fitted to these frames - I have progressives that I wear for Mtn bike racing - they are superb, crystal clear and bombproof - you can land (sit?) on these frames suffer no damage - no cut to your face in ski season is a bonus 3rd purpose

I concur as well with Jake. It is really hard to find a good pair of motorcycle sunglasses with bifocals built in. How about it Oakley?
