Introducing Our Brand New Websites

January 23, 2012 - 06:59 PM

On Wednesday, January 18, 2012 we unveiled completely remodeled websites. We've been working hard for a LONG time on the upgrades, and are convinced you'll enjoy them as much as we do. All our online services have been consolidated to two websites: WingStuff.com and CycleGiant.com.

What's the Same

WingStuff.com is as dedicated as ever to providing the best experience possible to our loyal Gold Wing customers. We remain true to the idea that Gold Wing riders desire more than just an impersonal parts site for their bike, but an all encompassing experience that accommodates the Gold Wing lifestyle. WingStuff.com will continue to focus entirely on all things Wing, while continuing to provide the same top-notch service you've come to expect from us.

Our VIP program is still honored across BOTH websites. As before, this provides an excellent opportunity to save when buying not only for your Gold Wing, but ALL your bikes.

Also, both websites share a unified checkout system. This means you can find something you like on WingStuff and add it to your cart, then switch over to CycleGiant and add something else. When you place your order, both items will be included! You'll pay shipping on a single order instead of two. This also makes it easier to qualify for our $99 free shipping by adding your purchases from both sites together.

What's New

A lot has changed. First (and perhaps most significantly), CycleGiant.com is a single website aimed at ALL our customers and no longer a suite of individual websites. Also, rather than one website for Gold Wing products and another for all NON Gold Wing products, we've decided CycleGiant should INCLUDE our Gold Wing customers. There's nothing you'll find on WingStuff that isn't included as a part of CycleGiant. This is to better serve those customers that have a second set of wheels parked beside their Wing.

Second, CycleGiant.com has also expanded to include our previous OEM factory parts website, CycleGiantParts.com. Now all your OEM motorcycle parts can be purchased directly from CycleGiant.com.

Third, and most exciting, is a long list of new navigation features to help you find the products you're looking for faster than ever. You can browse through product categories just as before, but now you can also shop by bike and shop by brand. We've included tools to help you filter products by price range, sort them by various attributes such as popularity and price, and even decide how you'd like to view the products: in a list format or the more popular grid format.

There are, of course, a great deal of smaller enhancements, too. Aside from a cleaner visual design, we offer downloadable installation instructions for many products, easy access to the products you've most recently viewed, and more!

A BIG Thank You

You, our customers, have already given us a lot of helpful feedback on our new websites. We encourage you to keep it coming! We welcome critiques along with the accolades, as we continually attempt to better understand how you wish to be served. We hope you'll enjoy the changes and keep watching for continued enhancements.

Thanks for your continued support,

Rick Arnoldo
President - WingStuff.com / CycleGiant.com

I like the look but are you sure there was a 2011 Gold Wing? I thought they skipped that year because of the move back to Japan. Just wondering.

I have been on the new website since you turned it on. Seems to be working well other than one communication glitch and your IT folks jumped right on it and GOT-R-FIXED. Still the super customer support you have always had. Keep up with all the improvements you have been doing. It is how you stay on top.

Thanks for keeping up. Love the new site. Already found something to buy and the snow is till as high as an elephant's eye up this way in northern Wisconsin. Keep up the good work. I'll keep up being a good customer. I can hardly wait to dig a path (through the snow) to my Wing and try out the new stuff I just purchased.

Excellent page thanks. Could I please ask if there is any way to link a cell phone to the new 2012 Goldwing, by bluetooth, while still using the corded head set, thanks, Eamonn Grey.

Sorry Guys, it may look nice, but as far as easy of use it really sucks. What happened to the nice long list items on the right side of the page. You replaced it with a very short list on the left side that you have to drill down two to three levels to maybe find what your are looking for. The old links also kept track of previously viewed items for you. It was also nice having the product names on the left side of the page. Now you have to go all the way back to the beggining webpage scroll down to the bottom of the page and then use the drop down arrow to get all the manufacturers. And none of the links keep track of what you have visited either. Finally the search engine still sucks big time as it did on the old site. Type in "air pressure gauge", you only get 4 hits. By going through the brand names you will see that Accugauge has 6 gauges on its site alone. A positive about the new site which is that the CycleGiant and Wingstuff pages are linked for one urchasing account. It would be nice if the OEM products could be linked to the wishlist. I am so glad I have spent most of my money (around $7500) already with Wingstuff because I do not think I would have spent that much searching through the new site. There are a couple of items on still on my wish list I know I would not have found. In my opinion pages are pretty but not as user friendly, but isn't user friendly more important to your business.

Much more modern and uncluttered look and more intuitive. I Like the new tools! Great job!

The new website is a little slicker looking, however, it isn't as friendly as the old one. The old one was superior to all of your competitors because it was easy to find what you were looking for. Now your website looks like everyone elses and requires you to click on numerous tags to find what you want. You wasted your money.

Like the new format/ layout, will take geting used to from the previous site, but intuitive & easy to navigate. Good job!
