Easy to install and they sound great!

J&M just makes quality product that fits like a glove. It's that simple.

Now the lights are bright white!

This kit made the lights brighter and whiter. I had upgraded my headlamps to HIDs and it made the fog lights look yellow. Much better now!

Large, contoured model review.

I bought this along with the black ISO grips and bar weights. It went on fine and the screws I needed to install them properly were included with the bar weights, but if you don't have bar weights, you get the screws you need with the throttle boss. It is REALLY big on the throttle. I would say that it is about 1/2 the length of the throttle. It adjusts with 4 large "slots" cut around the mounting screws allowing it a wide but limited range of motion. Depending on how you install your grips, I can see having a little difficulty finding a good "sweet spot" for maximum comfort. And I found that where I have it installed for comfort on the highway, it gets in my way a little bit with rolling off the throttle and grabbing the brake lever. That was the only reason for the 4 stars. I might recommend the smaller version for the same result and it would be a lot less obtrusive during braking. I would even go as far as to say that if you don't have arthritis, you would probably like the smaller version better. If I decide to try it, I will review again. As far as doing what it's supposed to do, it allows me to release my death grip on the throttle and rest my palm on the boss to keep the throttle open when using the cruise control is inconvenient.

Nice, clean look.

They do finish up the look of the black ISO grips very nicely. The powder coat seems thick and durable. I can't comment much on it stopping vibration because I put them on at the same time as the ISO grips, but I don't feel any vibration in the handlebars at all. Comes with a ton of screws so that if you get the throttle boss, you will have the proper extra-long screws you need to install the bar weight on the throttle side.

Look great, feel sweet, but be careful!

These grips look just awesome on my bike. I like chrome, but not up on the console where it reflects and blinds me. Everything near the handlebars is black and the only reason I was still using the stock grips was because I didn't want the only chrome thing up there to be the grips. These were a perfect solution and LONG overdue to the market.

Installation was as straightforward as any other grip, but BEWARE! the glue will set FAST!!! I wound up spending $120 on a set of $60 grips. The left one went on perfect, but the throttle side glue set at about 1/2" shy of being installed. One thing to note when installing the throttle side, when you slide it on, it will stop before it hits the switch housing, so don't try to "finese" it in there, jam it home quickly before the glue sets, and USE that clockwise (forward) twisting motion. On the second grip (after a trip to the honda dealer to replace the throttle sleeve)I did a couple of "trial runs" of sliding the grip onto the sleeve without the glue, then when it was time to glue it on, I used about 1/3 the tube instead of the whole thing and I tried to put the glue at least half way into the grip, and not near the top so that I could at least get the grip about half way on before I was racing the glue. Trust me, with this glue they give you, you don't need much to secure the grip to the handlebars!

After a lot of swearing and a new set of grips (anyone want to buy a new, uninstalled left black iso grip?) they look awesome and feel fantastic. They have excellent tactile feel and the increased size really do make it more comfortable for my hands. I also installed the bar end weights and the throttle boss. A great combination! I love them!

This is CRAP

This is a cheap piece of crap. One of the tangs broke off when I turned it to lock in place. This is the second one of these I have purchased never again. I would not buy this piece of junk. I would to the oem part and not this cheap piece of plastic.

Broken Fibula

I was given information about this deer whistle after relating an accident I had on the Pacific Coast Highway. I'm not sure which is proper, do you hit a deer or does a deer hit you? Anyway, I had the auto store plastic deer whistles (2) on my Victory Vision while doing a 6,000 mile road trip. About 3,500 miles into the trip, just after going through Big Sur, a deer hit me. I wound up with a damaged bike and a broken Fibula. So the store bought plastic deer whistles DON'T WORK. This deer whistle from what I understand does get their attention!!! I'll buy one, just because I have had the unpleasant experience of a deer hitting me and living through it. If you like to travel back roads which are frequented by wild animals I would definitely recommend anything which can deter them. The life you save may be your own.

Wingstuff customer service 5 stars

My windshield (-2) just arrived and I will comment on that in a later update when temps get above freezing. I wanted to comment on the customer service of Wingstuff. I had ordered my windshield about 2 weeks ago and with my typical luck as soon as it arrived I was browsing through the website and seen they were selling it for 10% off. I figured what the heck and contacted them. Since I had literally just ordered the same thing a week or two prior and was hoping I could still qualify for the discount. That same day Rodney had emailed me back saying that they would gladly refund the difference and credit the money back to my account, which they had done the same day. Yes I know this is only $30 difference but it is more the point that they were willing to honor the sale, even though they could have just as easily said NO and been done with it. I just think this speaks volumes of wingstuff and the staff taking care of us the customers and wanted to give credit where credit is due.
Again thank you Wingstuff for the superb customer service that you have shown me over the last few years. It is the small things like this that keep people

Player Worth It; Software not so much

I purchased the player and the software combo and will review them seperately.

The Player:
Arrived in a timely fashion, as has been the case for all of the products I order from Wingstuff. Very, and I mean very, easy to install. I chose to install it, using the provided velcro, on the left side of the trunk; however I installed it so that it angles up at 45 degrees so you can easily see and access where the SD or USD installs. Remove the seat, plug it into the ONLY plug it will fit on, route the cable as seen in the video, and connect.

The Software:
Save your money; honestly. You download it from this website and then unlock it using your email address and a code emailed to you (if you are lucky; mine never came and I had to email Wingstuff to get it). The software asks you what player you have (MP3 V3 in my case) then it asks you what year range your bike is in (2006 to 2011 > Mine is a 2007). This is so it can determine how many CD folders you will get on your SD or USB Flash Drive. My bike gets me 9 folders according to the software x 99 tracks per folder. So after spending an hour of loading up an 8 Gb card I installed it and the MP3 works like a charm.

Here is my issue with the software and why I think you should skip buying it. On your SD or USB it simply creates CD folders (i.e. CD1, CD2, CD3, etc) and then 99 tracks in each folder....that's it folks, that is all it does. Format, or blank out your SD or USB, create the number of folders for your bike's age (again mine was 9 folders)and then simply move music into each of them being careful to make sure that each folder is 99 tracks or less). If you are not comfortable with doing this on a PC then send me an email on here and I'll be glad to walk you through it. I do agree with another reviewer, if this software converted formats, or offered the abilty to rip to CD, then the price might be worth it.

Summary:
The MP3 player was probably the best aftermarket component I have installed to date. Having access to 800+ songs on those long rides where the radio just does not do the job is worth the $109 (non ABS). The software: save your month and apply that to some more chrome!!
