I installed these because next summer I'm going to be doing a lot of traveling and I have a friend from KY that says they work for sure.. Other then that I live in NY/NJ and we don't have any deer problems here!! LOL

Rudolf is SAFE!!! Since installing them I haven't killed any deer. I mounted them under the mirrors to expose them to the most airflow. I gave these only 4 stars 'cause I would have rather had them black to match the bike. (Rattle can black will fix this issue) Perhaps it's the shiny chrome finish that scares the deer....

The package said not for motorcycles on it which had me upset but once I installed them on both sides of the bike on the lower fairing moulding and took the bike for a ride, I was able to see the deer on the side of the road stop and look up at me. They do work and I feel more comfortable riding where deer are present.

I have had 2 on our Goldwing, 1 on each side, for 3+ years running all through the VA, NC, & TN mountains. Roadside animals hear this for sure, seen them stop & look at us go by many times.
They ain't looking at our chrome!

The one star is more for Wing Stuff selling these when they are "NOT" for motorcycles, than for the product itself.

Yes, get these for your bike - they work- stops the deer right in their tracks - even the ones up "on the hill" pay attention. Mounted them on top of the fog lights.

I bought these over a year ago and "I KNOW THEY WORK"!!! Deer have stopped in their tracks, Elk have slammed on the brakes an hung a U-Turn BUT Antelope are the dumbest animal on god's green earth. These will not save you from them. I mounted them under the passenger foot rests and they are unseen as I usually ride 2 up so these are always down.
If you ride through Montana, Idaho, Washington, Oregon, Utah, Nevada, South Dakota, Wyoming or Northern CA, these will save your Butt!!!
(just keep them clean)

So a friend of mine hit a deer a couple of years back and spent a week in the hospital and many weeks recovering - she did not have these on. Don't know if they work or not, but I put them on because I have not heard a story of a biker hitting a deer with them on.

I mounted these on the underside of the Kury highway pegs, they are full exposed there, yet unobtrusive. I've passed by a couple of deer at night, they were standing by the side of the road looking at me as I rode by. These things really get their attention.

After reading many stories about bikers and deers meeting each other ,I knew I needed something to alert them too ,I'm not sure how these work I just hope they do . So I installed them under the kuryakyn foot pegs on the flat plat which is the same size as the sticky tape and it's in the wind and out of sight.
