Like the Looks / Love the ergonomics!

A more slick looking item than the other Air Deflectors I found, do a good job of cutting the wind buffeting and work for 34in inseam 6'4" 225lb rider. The OTHER deflectors cause uncomfortable leg position or rubbing. I know cause I rode & tried them all before I bought. For me they work great. Mine are the smoked, and they match the rest of my tinted pieces

It blocks wind.......

It blocks wind alright and brings zero wind around to you when its hot. I replaced these with the baker new generation adjustable hand wings. The Bakers will:
1. Block just as wind as the upper fairing side wind deflector
2. Bring cool air around the bike to the driver on days 90 degrees plus
3. Cost half as much as the upper fairing side wind deflectors

I have upper and lower deflectors. Looks cleaner and more functional than baker air wings. I have had both.

Works great, I installed them on my 2012 stock bolts arent long enough so I pick them up at Home Depot. Instructions say to pry off the molding with a flat screwdriver, but if you care for your paint use a teflon spatula.

These fit and work great on my 2012 wing. Much better than the BB AirWings on my previous gl1800s. I rated '4' stars since the lower bolts had to be replaced. The stock bolts are not long enough and there are no bolts sent in the package.

I installed upper and lower deflectors nice fit. Easy to install. So far they seem functional haven't been in the heat yet. So far no complaints.

Install was easy and they look good. I too have that gap below my mirrors. Snow still on the ground here so have not been able to try them out but curios to those that have used them...do they raise with the wind to close the gap below the mirrors??
My trim fit back on without having to notch them. I did find that if the deflector mounts do not sit perpendicular to the fairing the trim will not fit properly.
I went with the smoke colour deflectors on my Dark Metallic Red Wing.
4 stars due to the gap.

NOT HAPPY...... There is a 1"+ gap between the bottom of the mirror and the leading edge of the deflector. Kind of defeats the purpose if you asked me. Take a look in my photos to see. Going to ask if this is a defect because it cant be right!

Other than being non functional, seems like a well built product.

Fit is spot on. Installation took about 30 minutes. Instructions are easy to understand. Quality is outstanding! Styling is clean and stream lined, blends in very well with the style of the goldwing They keep the wind off my hands, but still gives me the ability to controlairflow on hot days.
