nice bag

I just rec'd this bag and have not used it but was impressed by the size and the way it fits my Kury Rack. The only reason I am giving it 4 stars and not 5 is the attachment system. I would have preffered that it have 4 snap buckles instead of the velcro on the front and loop buckles on the rear. I think it will fit my needs perfectly other than that. I will probably use a bungee just for extra measure.

Bought this bag after installing the luggage rack. It fits very well and really holds a large amount of items. Really expands your packing ability for longer trips. Gives the wife more room to buy things asx we travel.

We just got back from a 2000 mile ride. Nearly 300 miles of that was in rain. In heavy rain with winds the bottom of the bag soaked through. The rain cover doesn't do much good in heavy rain. but in light rain it seemed to do the job. The size of the bag is perfect and it sticks to the rack like it's glued on. I am looking into using a water proofing spray on the bag to insure a little better protection from the elements. All in all, I am still very pleased with the bag.

UPDATE: Just got back from an extended long haul tour and put the Ultragard to the test. It did really well providing me with lots of pockets to store smaller items and the larger compartment was great for larger items that I needed quick and/or easy multiple access to. The Ultragard did well in light or sporadic rain, however during one 7 hour day in heavy rain, the bag was pretty much soaked through even with the the rain cover on.

Very nice bag - well designed and constructed. It has a lot of storage space and fits nicely on my Kuryakyn rack. The rain cover is a nice addition and stores neatly out of the way when not needed.

I have owned four different rack bags over the course of a few years and had planned to by another Kury (which is a very good bag), instead I opted for this one after reading the reviews...I'm glad I did. This one is the best so far.

Big, sturdy, good construction, looks great. Will definitely fill a cargo gap on a ride. Can't wait to put it to full use when I head out on some longer x-country runs. The rain cover is integrated in its own compartment and is permanently attached by a cord making it unlikely that you will ever lose it due to wind or inattention.

Just got back from 4700 miles out west and this bag was great. Holds all the rain gear and more. My wife could reach the front pockets from her seat. rain cover works perfect. Very easy access and nice handle for carrying.

I just used this on a 4,000 mile trip, I used it for bulky lightweight items such as the wingstuff full motorcycle cover, rain gear and sandals. The forward pockets are tall enough to store 16.9 oz water bottles, sunscreen, etc. and are passenger friendly while moving, as are the side pockets that are axpandable from flat to about a 3" wedge shape for larger items. I used the rear vertical pocket for maps, there is a 6" x 20" mesh pocket on top of the U shaped main opening. The rain cover fits snug, no flapping in the wind. I personally would have used the velcro type straps on the sides instead of the strap and buckle fastening, but that's personal. I really like this bag and thank all the previous reviewers for helping me make the decision.

I am very pleased with this bag. It's well made and has alot of storage. I love how it has a handle so it can be carried like a suitcase. I just took it on a 2100 mile trip and it definitely came in handy.
