Did not give this 5 stars because it was a PIA to install. Nothing lined up, had to use pry bars and punches to line up bolt holes on my 2006. Took me 2.5 hours after I had taken everything off to start bolting it up. Don't know if the other brands are any different but would consider another brand that would line up better, solid well built and serves it's purpose.

Was easy to instal, good quality product. For once no need to drill or modify anything, I like that. Fits good and is strong. I would suggest this item.

Got this hitch for my wife for Christmas :) and want to send my kudos to Steve Butland for his instruction sheets with the photos. Sure made the job a whole bunch easier that the sheets provided by the AO team. Install took less than two hours on my 2001 GL1800A, as recommended finger tight all the bolts until all are installed, then tighten up all bolts.
Now to find a nice spot to install the trailer plug that isn't too obvious! Thanks again Steve!

I really like this hitch it was not hard to install just took my time about 2 hours, kept bolts loose intill I got everything put on then tighten all up, all in all very glad I got this hitch and a very nice price to go along with it. Now all I need is my rack carrier that I want for it.

Over all I am fairly satisfied with the hitch but I have have a long road trip coming up where I am going to use it extensively so I will update this review then. I was well aware of the fudging that was necessary to install this hitch but for the money and considering it was for a goldwing and not a universal hitch I really would expect better. Once its on it feels solid and is completely hidden with the ball removed, so 4 stars. Took about 3.5 hrs to install and would have went quicker with an other set of hands to hold the side bars when lining it up with the frame.
