This is a great product and was an easy install to the spoiler and the plug & play was easy. The added lights look great and added visibility which is a good thing.
Warning -- Don't buy this if you own a 2012 Goldwing! The light was easy to mount in the spoiler. I was easily able to hook up two of the five wires inside the truck cavity, and then run the others behind the seat and into the seat area. I removed the rear fender to find the three plug 'n play connectors but couldn't find them. I called "Add-On" for help and they stated they don't sell it for the 2012 yet (should've gone to their website). They hope to track down the connectors (if available - it's on their to-do list). In the meantime, I guess I'll splice into the rear fender light fixtures to hook up the running and turn signal wires.
I have had this on my bike for 1.5 years and am very happy with it. I agree with earlier posts. This is bling that is also a safety feature, two for one, and great price for the product. Install is difficult, so read the early posts for hints on how to make it easier. I did not have the cross connectivity issue. It is also true that you must test this with the bike running. It does not operate as designed with the bike off.
Product just installed. Acts the way it is described. 4 stars because the install instructions are not good. Takes awhile to figure out what the instructions are trying to say. Read them carefully, multiple times before proceeding with install and then again several times while installing.
Great product and easy install. Just a FYI: Both Red and Amber LEDs (as with most others in other LED items) will be dim until bike is running with the alternator at full output, usually about 10 to 15 seconds after starting of engine. Don't get discouraged! Just start your engine and look how bright they get!
And we can't wait to show you how it's done!
