These boots are excellent-quality and very light in weight. The price-value relationship is very good. The level of protection exceeds other similar priced top of the line boots.
The system of protection of the ankle-inside has a “concavity” (as a “capsule”) which is supposed to fit perfectly around the “protruding” or “bulge” of the ankle bone. I do not know why, but that part of my ankle’s bone is totally outside of that “concavity” of boots. The result: the protection system oppresses so hard my ankle and causes me, not just a comfortless, but an extreme pain.
But considering that TCX is a well reputed Italian brand that is dedicated for years to manufacture Biker’s boots (and considering that these are the top-of-the-line for serious Cruiser and Touring Riders) the problem is probably mine (maybe some defect on the anatomy of my ankle), so I strongly recommend you try these boots… if not hurt, you will have the best protection and the best looking
