I used these when I put on the new Bridgestones. Rode 1200 miles on I 75, Blue Ridge Parkway, Deals Gap and back home on I 75. Most of the trip was in less than favorable weather (wet!!!!). I could not tell any difference in the ride from the traditionally balanced Dunlops to the Bridgestones with the Dyna Beads. If the tire wear is as improved as stated in other reviews, I will do the same thing the next time I need to change tires.
The best thing about this set up is that our local Honda dealer wanted over $400 to order the Bridgestones and then extra to mount and balance the tires. I spent $299 for the tires and $14 for the Dyna Beads and $21 for a Harbor Frieght motorcycle bead breaker. 2 hours later and I have new tires on my 08 wing.

While not a bad concept I swear I could feel the front bounce a bit when stopping (30mph down to the last few mph.).. This was likely due to the weight becoming unbalance in the dynamic shift of the beads. Now I like twisties or turns so tight that the RPM’s are wound out but you can't take the curve much faster than 25mph. This also seemed to be the speed the dynabead would cease doing their thing. Maybe some of this was my imagination but I did give'em a try with the new tire for about 1200 miles and just didnt like them too much. Maybe these beads are great for sportbike riders on a race track or straight highway long haul riders. Just not for me though so I went back to the old weights. Now what I may do is, later as the tire ends it's lifespan, say into the last 1500 miles then I may slip the beads back in to make up the difference as a tire may wear out of round.

I had to replace a tire due to road damage, this tire had the Dyna beads in it and they did keep the tire in balance as stated. The only thing that I did see when the tire had been removed was that the wheel or rim which ever you prefer to call it had some etching marks plus a little showing on the valve stem. This caused me to think of what might happen with continue use over a long period of time. I’m trying a different type of beads in the new tire but I’m still running the Dyna beads in the other tire so I can get some comparison between the two. As of now both tire are in balance and the only different is the beads in the older tire fall to the bottom after stopping for any length of time.

Just got these in and this is the third set of tires I have us these on. Very happy with the out come. Good milages.

I had these on my previous wing & was very pleased with them, so will be installing them in spring b4 the 2012 riding season.
Have them in my 08 Raider also & not a bit of problems to date.

Have had these on my 1500 for over a year now. While on a trip through Arizona last year I lost a ( or some ) front wheel weights. The bike shook badly at highway speeds. Put in the Dyna Beads as a "quick fix". Never did have the tire rebalanced as the Dyna Beads have taken care of it just fine. 10K miles later I think I well try them on the next set of tires I put on bike.

My initial review was on 8/2/2009 (still there!), and I thought I should update.

I have had Metzlers my whole biking life, and yes, they have a stigma of cupping and trashing quickly. Most I ever got was 10,000+, but I desire their stickiness. I only make this point, to make another. I am on the same set of Metzlers I had mounted at my 8/2009 post. No weights. I now have 14,000+ miles on this set and they are showing MINIMAL cupping (and I mean minimal). They are silky smooth at all speeds, and the tread is still very deep. I have no doubt they have 5,000 to 7,000 miles left to go. My theory is a combination of the beads and the All Balls tapered bearings (a MUST on our bikes) have lengthened the life of the tires. That, or I was blessed with a surprise from the Metlzer Tire Gods. I doubt the latter. Oh, and I have had racetech springs since 2006.

Not to be long on this, but do I believe the beads are an easy and very inexpensive way to keep our tires balanced through their life.

The beads seem to work just as described.
I installed them in a 2009 Goldwing/Roadsmith Trike.
I put 2 ounces in the front tire and 3 ounces in the rear tires.

I installed these on my 2003 GL1800. Worked so well, no tire cupping, tires last longer and took out any vibration. Do not notice any low speed vibration anymore. They are so easy to install. Have installed on my other bike, now gonna install into my truck as well.
