The spoiler is fantastic!

I wanted it for the looks and my wife wanted it for safety. It is very impressive on both counts. I have a 2010 Goldwing.

Humor me here. This spoiler does nothing to hold the rear of the bike firmly on the pavement at high speeds, but it does look neat & the led's add something in terms of rear end visibility.

Installing this is not for the faint-hearted. You will be drilling 5 holes in your beautiful trunk lid so make 100% sure you have marked them correctly with the supplied template.

Instructions are clear and easy to follow. For best results, start drilling with a small drill and work your way up to the correct size. Use a drill with speed control and drill slowly to prevent paint damage or burring.

I also bought the Spoiler Run/Brake/Flashing LED Light replacement (Item# EC01320) and installed it at the same time. See separate review of the EC01320.

It took me the whole day to install this and a few other accessories so I cannot say how long it took for only the spoiler. I took my time to make sure I did it correctly. My guess is that it will take about 60-90 min.

The result is unbelievable. It completely transforms the hunch-back look from behind into a more complete classy look. It really should be fitted as standard.

It is expensive but it is a quality product which is what you would expect from an OEM product. You get what you pay for.

I’m very happy with the final results. I would recommend this to anybody.

Spoiler adds a great look and I replaced light with Item #: AO451842V Running/Brake/Turn Signal all in one light and installed with American Motorcycle Accessories GL1800 Chrome Billet Luggage Rack Item # SBAMA2003. Installation was easy I cut the template out with a razor blade for a clean cut. The trunk was designed for a spoiler if you look carefully at the underside of the trunk lid where the template shows to drill the holes you will see molded into the lid 3 circles with a raised point in the middle on the left side and 2 on the right also note the final drill size recommended was too big I use the size that matched the screws size for a tighter better fit.

Really easy to install. My 2012 trunk lid already had the locations marked out with dimples that the template lined up with. Will fit comfortable on the back with the Kuryakyn KU7151 Chrome Luggage Rack w/Rubber Inlay. Just take your time drilling the holes, you'll end up drilling three 7/16" holes on the LEFT side and two 7/16" holes on the RIGHT side. Start with a 1/8" pilot hole and increment your way up to 7/16". Includes the necessary wiring harness to wiring it into the brake lights. Works only for brakes - does not function as a turn signal indicator.

Installation took about 15 to 20 minutes.
