I have been using this helmet since March '11. I have 3 complaints, first (and worst) is that the tinted visor is about a half inch to short, the bottom of the visor is in my field of vision directly in line with the instruments. Actually, it doesn't go down far enough to cover my prescription glasses. The second is the vent is ineffective, possibly because not much air gets past the windshield. The third is that with the chin bar in place, the bubble visor fogs badly, there again possibly not enough air flow. Without the chin bar, the fogging in minimal. The compliments, fits well, mic and speakers work well, easy to change between visor and bubble shield and the liner is easy to remove and clean. If a longer tinted visor were available I would rate it 5 stars.

Very nice Helmet with great features. I like the fit, color, multiple options especially the removalbe chin bar and the ratchet chin strap. The only thing that keeps me from giving it 5 stars is drop down smoke visor does not sit right or function at all for me and the ventilation on a Gold Wing is marginal. Overall one of the best helmets I have owned and i got it with built in J&M wired headset which is a nice built in and funtions very well. Headset speakers are good but certainly no Bose or high fidelity quality. Works good as intercom but if you really like your music I find my upgraded stereo on the 2012 Wing rocks much better than listening thru the headset, even with this helmet on. I like this helmet better than my other ones so may buy a second one with Bluetooth and go down the dongle route as well.

Great Helmet and much lighter compared to previous Nolan N103's - I often ride with the shield up / too bad the sun visor isn't straight across as nose cut isn't necessary - the sun visor does distort vision somewhat.
- I added Nolan Blue-tooth wireless system for communication which is also wonderful - we can no longer talk out on the CB but our rider to passenger communication is vastly improved.

Need to have a tall windshield because it is noisy if the wind hits it directly. I like it for myself, but not my wife. It functions well and i took the chin part off because its to close to my chin. Air circulates better during winter and summer, good buy for the driver only.

I got one of these with the J&M 279 mic and speaker set up for my 06' wing. I like all the features of the helmet and it is comfortable on longer trips. The down side (why only 4 stars) the tinted visor that comes down (sometimes) is difficult to operate and it catches on something within the helmet, so it does not function like I had imagined. The other down side is with my wife on the back and she want to talk to me her voice is unclear and tinney sounding. Overall the helmet is better than the HJC that I had.

I recently bought two of these. I love the flexibility that this helmet offers; from wide open to a semi-full face in a matter of seconds. The liner and padding inside are very comfortable, and the chinstrap is unlike anything I've ever had on any other helmet. Very quick, easy and secure. My wife loves her's too, more importantly. I equipped them with Scala Rider headsets, and this helmet provides a quiet enough environment for them to work very well. Great purchase. Highly recommended.
