I already had the Honda spoiler installed and the rack went in just fine. I added chrome washers recommended by a WingStuff (he said they were stainless but turned out to be chromed). To me, the plain washers look better than the star washers (see pics). Also, I threaded a 1/4" vinyl tube into the trunk lid seal. I did this using Ideal Clear Guide wire lube available at Home Depot($5). The 5/16" tube seemed too large as recommended by others but the 1/4" worked well. The bag is great as it has 2 very wide Velcro straps on the bottom - not weeny at all! The rack is less than half the weight of the others so you can pack more on back. If it ever corrodes, I will have it powdered coated for about $60.

Was looking to get a rack, and saw the rack/bag combo, saw the VIP price and it was an easy decision. Installation took all of 30 mins from getting tools out to clean up. I did get the the larger star washers sold here, it looks great and the larger star washers should distribute the load better on the lid. Got a long trip planned for this summer and this should take care of some of our storage concerns. Service was excellent got my order in about a week.

I purchased this combo a couple weeks ago. Since I live about 25 miles away I picked it up at Wingstuff and the service was fast, friendly and helpful. I purchased the stainless steel washers, too.

Following the instructions was easy. I bought a new (sharp) drill bit rather than take a chance with my dull ones! Step-by-step, measure twice/cut once and it was a snap to mount the rack.

It's maiden voyage was last week and I couldn't be more pleased. I packed it with shoes, socks, t-shirts, pants and my motorcycle cover -- all within the 10 pound limit. Plenty of room!
The final leg of the trip coming home was in pouring rain, wind and rain-wash from cars on the freeway. The combo were rock steady, and I had no issues.

I received my luggage rack and bag today. Once again, shipment was fast. Installation was a breeze and the rack is really nice quality and looks great. Haven't used the bag yet, but looks to be of good quality and perfect size.
