Sizes do not run true at all.
You need to order at least 1 size bigger.
Chaps themselves seem to be made nicely for the price you are paying.

Great product for the price... I ordered them for my daughter. Wife already had a set, a little on the baggy side. (To clarify I'm only talking about the chaps!) Tried to order a happy medium for my daughter and wouldn't ya know it the size was still off... Just part of the internet fun, right? this thinking I can always trade them off to someone and get the right size on the next order. These were a little tight, she opted for the diet.

Measurements should be measured by the biggest part of the thigh, not by size of garment. My thigh measures at 24",wearing jeans therefore the 2XL is really tight go to the next size.The waist adjust from 2XL to 5XL.

Chaps are thin and very comfortable. Well made and came with extra snaps. You may want to order a size larger than normal...

Well i got to tell you for the price these are worth the money,I bought 2 pair 1 for me and 1 for the wife befor our trip to the BLACK HILLS,MT RUSHMORE,CRAZY HORSE and they worked out great,I would like to add that they do run a little small so i would order the next size up !!!
