Flash 2 Pass Motorcycle Garage Door Opener is a complete kit that includes the patented transmitter, receiver, all installation hardware and easy do it yourself instructions for ANY motorcycle, scooter or other vehicle.

Works with virtually any garage door opener manufactured since 1982. No Remote to get lost or stolen, No batteries to ever replace, Simple 2-Wire installation, Waterproof, Digital Rolling Code Security, Single Receiver works with up to 6-Transmitters, Works with virtually any garage door opener since 1982. Additional transmitters available seperately and are shown as Related Product on page.

Motorcycle Flash2Pass Motorcycle Transmitter is a small radio frequency device that mounts inside your motorcycle. Measures 2" x 2” x ¾”. Wires stay attached with Posi-Tap connectors to the headlight high beam positive wire and to the ground wire. The Flash2Pass™ transmitter is non-polarized so you can attach either wire to the headlight wires.

The Flash2Pass™ receiver is designed to replace the pushbutton inside your garage. If you have additional functions on your pushbutton that you would like to keep, the receiver can be installed next to your original pushbutton and “piggybacked” to it.

The Flash2Pass™ transmitter and receiver are packaged as a set that is pre-programmed at the factory, or they are available individually. For instance, if you had a two-car garage with one large door for both bays, you would buy one set and an additional transmitter. The additional transmitter would be installed in the second vehicle and the receiver programmed to accept it.

Say you had a vacation home with a garage door opener. You could get an additional Flash2Pass™ receiver for it and then program your motorcycle, scooter or car to it. That way, you wouldn’t have to remember to bring the remote with you. It will always be at your fingertips…both at home and on vacation.

Now, if you live in a gated community and the community installed the F2P Integrated Control Access System, you would be able to access the community gate, and your individual garage. We call this the “gate to garage” concept. Also if you worked in a place that had some sort of parking control and the F2P ICAS were in place, you again could use your Flash2Pass™ transmitter to gain access, assuming you were authorized and/or programmed into the receiver.

You know your garage door remote that you have to fumble for everytime you get home. Maybe it’s inside your fairing pocket, inside your saddlebags or in your purse or jacket pocket or maybe it just drove away in the other car or motorcycle your spouse was driving.

You know what the battery looks like, too, you replace it every year or so. It’s a nine-volt, or is it two AA’s? You better check before you buy new ones…

You might even worry about somebody swiping it and using it to get into your house.

We solved these problems by integrating the activation of your garage door opener remote into the high beam switch of your turn signal lever.

A double flash of your motorcycle headlight high beams opens or closes your garage door

A small one time investment gets you the maintenance free system

No remote transmitter to get stolen or lost

No battery to buy or replace…Flash2Pass™ gets its power from your car

Digital encrypted signal and rolling code technology for ultimate security

      Quick and easy do-it-yourself installation

Up to six transmitters may operate a single receiver

Motorcycle Transmitter Installation - Depending on the motorcycle, the easiest way is to remove the headlight from the bucket as if you were changing the bulb, and connect the transmitter. Then just tuck the transmitter into the bucket or fairing if applicable and reinstall the headlight. Again, this may not be applicable to every installation, but it is a general rule of thumb.

Receiver Installation - Motorcycle Flash2Pass Receiver is even easier to install. There are two wires that go from the garage door opener motor to a pushbutton on the wall that you use to open the garage door from the inside. After disconnecting the power to the garage door opener, you will remove the pushbutton from the wall, undo the two wires from the back and attach them to the Flash2Pass receiver, and attach the receiver to the wall. Turn the power back on, and that's it!

If your current pushbutton console has functions other than to open the door, like light and lock switches, you can still keep those functions by using "jumper" wires from your current console to the Flash2Pass receiver. Complete instructions are included with every set and separate receiver.

Additional receivers may be installed elsewhere and programmed to your Flash2Pass™ equipped motorcycle, scooter or other vehicle.

Fits ANY motorcycle, scooter or car and works with virtually any garage door opener manufactured since 1982

Gated Community Note

If you're interested in the F2P opener inorder to open both your garage door and the gate of a gated neighborhood you should check with the association 1st to see if it's OK to install a F2P reciever at the gate. My association denied the request so I'm still using the old remote. That's the reason for only 4 stars.

I tie-wrapped the sending unit to the inside of the left passenger speaker cover and ran the wires under the seat to a waterproofed momentary on/off switch that I put in the Emergency Flasher switch pannel.

Mounting the sending unit in the rear speaker well lets me open the garage door at the same place as the old sending unit.

Not Impressed

Save your money and go buy an extra controller for your opener. I was not impressed by the range I had to be right at my door before it would work so I removed it and am going to just find somebody that wants it for free.

Works great and allows me to control both the opener in the garage and the one in my bike shed. The installation was easy - I had seen a video on You Tube and referenced that as an easy guide to selecting the right wires. I mounted the transmitter under the seat on the left side and wire tied it to the frame. The included Posi-tap connectors made installation a snap, although I wish I'd seen the plug-and-play adapter available when I purchased.

The installation in my garage was simple. I mounted the receiver on the ceiling near the opener as I already had a wall mounted button. The opener works as I pull up to the driveway. I am also lucky enough to have a separate motorcycle garage with an automatic roll up door. This door required a power adapter, which I didn't order. I had an old adapter on hand that was the right output voltage, went to Radio Shack and bought the right connector, and plugged the adapter into the receiver. Worked great and cost me under $3 - and put an old adapter to use!

Had product installed by nearby Honda shop. Had no issues with it. Real handy. Don't have to shine headlights directly at door for it to work. Great item! Plan on getting one for my truck and my wifes car. Would endorse.

Install and could never get it to work. Install was not sinple. Removed from bike and tried on another vehicle and still did not work. I probably got the one in a millon DOA.
Couldn't get it exchanged or return because I bought it during the winter and didn't install for a month or two. Lost receipt. I chock this one up as lesson learned. :-/
