The post-recall floorboards include all the necessary parts -- thanks Kury. But, since these floorboards are much heavier than the stock ones the supplied springs weren't holding them up properly; the left side wouldn't stay completely folded. So I tried, and ended up using the Honda parts anyway, especially the detent plates and springs which completely solved the problem. They look great, and my wife loves the choice of foot positions. Happy with this purchase. I hope they hold up (chrome and rubber).

Just got my new (Post-recall) Transformer Floorboards in the mail. No more disassembly of the old boards to canibalize assembly parts - these are a 1-piece assembly and completely Chromed. No more mis-matched parts (Honda boards and mounting swivel are not Chromed). Beautifull to look at.... We'll see how long they last.

UPDATE: Kuryakyn Rep called me within 5 minutes of leaving a message. Said they will sent out a new complete replacement set as soon as they are available in April 2012. Can't ask for better than that!!

Wife loves them, but the left one broke at the mounts yesterday when wife readjusted in her seat doing about 50mph. Car behind me ran over it and broke it to pieces. Just found out about the recall today. Wingstuff directed me to Kuryakyn customer service at 1-866-296-4728.

Anyone have info on the NHTSA recall?

I put these on my 12 Oct/11 and my wife loves them. They are easy to install and fit fine.

A must have for the wife, she loves how they offer a difference in foot position. Yes, having to deal with using the ball-bearing and spring from the OEM was a little bit of a hassle, but all went well and was easy to install.

These look great on my Trike. My better half loves them. She says they allow her to change positions of feet and legs adding to a more comfortable ride. Very easy to install. 10 minutes a side. Highly Recommend.

These are a great addition to my bike. The wife loves the versatility and doesn't complain nearly as much...well somewhat. Only four stars due to the recent (1 week ago) 12 dollar increase. What's up with that Wingstuff?

These are easy to install, however you have to use parts from the OEM Boards for them to work right. Believe me it is a must if you take passengers on long rides. My wife loves them.
