Great Highway Pegs

Had my first ride today using the pegs and what a difference they make. Very comfortable in the sitting position, which I think allows better blood circulation for my legs and help with my back posture. I'm just praying the chrome holds up in this hawaii weather "RUST".

Installation wasn't that bad considering the instructions ain't that great. I went over the instructions at least a dozen time before putting the pegs on. Once you install one side, the other side should go on quick. More pictures should be added to the instructions to help with the visual, that's the reason for the 4 stars instead of 5.

The construction of these pegs is top notch, you can tell when you feel the weight, "HEAVY DUTY". The chrome looks nice and as I mentioned at the top, I hope they hold up. I was worried about the pegs slipping during my ride but, after seeing the adjustable stop on the pegs, I don't beleive these pegs will ever slip, unless you forget to tighten all the screws and bolts.

Finally, the pegs add a different look to my bike, sort of like "Bling". Adds a little flare and looks great, for now.

I hope this helps.

nice but...

These are very nice highway pegs but a person should be afforded the opportunity to choose which size arms to use with them. The six inch ones don't work for me in any position...so if I order the shorter ones then what do I do with these? once again; C'mon Kuryakyn you're making enough money not to resort to these marketing tactics.Three stars for that.

I've had these pegs on about 6 months now. I'm giving this 3 stars because of the following. #1) I agree with the other members on the installation instruction. It would be helpful if the right and left arms were tagged, for quicker installation. #2)I've configured them in many different ways, but not yet found the right comfort zone. I bought these so I could stretch out my legs, but the inside of my leg rubs on the fairing. #3) They look good and the quality of the product is good.

Nice addition

My husband was a little worried about how they were going to look on the bike when they stick out there. But I bought them anyways and it was the best purchase. It looks great on the bike and he's able to add hundreds of miles to our trips. The only disadvantage is how his legs rub the radiator guards. This is a small price to pay for extra comfort. On cold days he's acutally found that using these pegs filters warm air from the radiator and provides extra heat.

Kuryakyn Ergo II Highway Pegs

I've been riding my '05 1800A since it was new without highway pegs. I was proud of the fact that I didn't need any. I am 68 years old and I can actually lift my leg up on the fairing for a break while traveling long distances. Then I rode with these pegs a few days ago. Wow! What a difference. I think I will be able to sit in the saddle a lot longer now, something my better half won't appreciate I'm sure. And the quality of these pegs are top notch. I just hope Kuryakyn has got their chrome plating up to par. I've had problems in the past with discoloring and flaking and refused to buy anything Kuryakyn for several years. But I couldn't find anything out there that compared with these pegs as far as good looks and being of good solid material so I threw caution to the wind and hope the chrome holds up.Four stars only because of doubts about the plating holding up.

Highway pegs

These are great. I am 5'6" and straight back, as pictured, is perfect for me. They look good, have infinite adjustability, and are holding up well. Installation was not bad at all. Instructions were typical Kuryakyn.

Just put these on. I agree, instructions need some tweaking, but otherwise look great. I have a 34" inseam and really haven't found the "sweet spot" for comfort yet, and may have to purchase the shorter pegs, which would be a pain, having spent so much on these already. Wish they had a trade-in longer for shorter pegs program. Gave 4 stars due to instructions. (Oh, I have already scuffed the bottom up on tight turns - wahoo!)

Good quality pegs. Although the mounting directions are not the best - take your time and the process becomes more or less intuitive. Before tightening the assembly to the engine guard, make certain that peg position is where you want it. I would recommend that the clamp assembly is moved as far forward on the engine guard as possible and that the extended arm be raised possibly 10-15 degrees from horizontal to ensure that the pegs don't scrape the pavement when leaned over and cornering. If they are mounted horizontally - AS SHOWN IN THE PICTURE - you will almost certainly contact the pavement when cornering.

On long trips these are a real comfort to have. Unsure who was the test subject Honda used for the drivers seating position, but they must have spent little time in the saddle or these would have been standard on all wings.
