I had the headset installed in my open face HJC helmet within 20 minutes and it fit very well. The plugs fit tight and when I first hooked up and tried the radio there was no sound. It was fairly dark when I installed the unit so the next day I checked the connections and found the connector cable to be not seated fully. After the connection was fully seated the headset worked great! The sound is very good and mic transmits clearly. I'll now order one for the passenger helmet.

I brought these for my second helmet an HJC. Install was not bad as I've done it a few times already. And they sound good but I can tell you they don't sound as good and the Honda brand I have installed in my helmet. And the volume does not see to go as high either. But over all I'm happy with them and did not want to spend the money for the Honda line ones because I don't have someone riding all the time. And for that these will serve the purpose..

Had J&M install this headset inside of a full face ARAI Corsair RX-7 helmet. Found the sound quality to be good. Pleased with the product and WingStuff's price.

I JUST INSTALLED TWO OF THESE IN MY GMAX GM17 HELMETS AND THE INSTALLATION WAS A SNAP. THE SOUND IS GREAT! THE GMAX GM17 HELMETS AND THE JM HEADSETS ARE A SUPER BUY! DON'T FORGET TO ORDER THE POWER CORD.

Installed this in my wife's Gmax helmet, which was setup to receive a headset better than my HJC Symax II. Her Gmax had pockets for the speakers already built in, they were a snug fit, but no extra cutting required. This 279 model sounds almost as good as my elite, and the price was certainly much better than the elite ....... Still trying to figure out why the P cord for her rig was nearly 29 bucks cheaper than the Z cord for my Elite, but I digress......
The headset / mic perform well, easy installation, so I'm happy.

Bought two for HJC CS-R1 "Dagger" full face helmets I also bought here. Pretty easy install into helmets (not my first) Great sound on my wing and the J&M System on the wife's VTX (mp3 audio is fantastic with the J&M Handlebar CB) Speakers are pretty thick, smaller helmets (with not much earpiece room) will need some interior cut out to make room for headphones. Mouthpiece comes with a cover but it looks like to seat it in the helmet, you'll have to exacto out a hunk in the mouth cover for it to fit... haven't done that yet. For quality and sound I give it 5 stars
