Great poduct.... ordered a set me my wife and I.
Install was straight forward... easier than expected.
Be careful using socket tool tightening socket cap!!!
Audio is very clear... very satisfied.
I had these installed by a dealer, because they said if I installed it myself that J&M would give me a hard time about any warantee issue. It was only $30 per helmet (I have 2) so I just let them do it. Fit is perfect. The speakers have a noticably good quality (I was forced to buy the elite series, the only one available for install in an Arai) with good bass response for the size. Highs leave a bit to be desired, but a nice full sound. Not Bose by any stretch.
J&M headsets, product wise are OK. There is, however, absolutely no customer service at this company if you have even the smallest inquiry in doing the installation process. I have had six communications with J&M in the past 3 months. It didn't matter how insignificant the question, if you call in to ask it, you will receive the same reply, whether you deal with the staff or the company president: "Send us your helmet and $50.00" If you think I'm exaggerating, try it yourself. Call up and ask any question about the install process and see what answer you get. You don't even have to ask about installation issues to get that response. When I e-mailed to inquire as to whether J&M manufactured a higher quality speaker to which I could upgrade (I had purchased two of their "mid-range" headsets, price-wise), the e-mail reply I receive was: "who installed your headsets?" When I responded: "I did", the company president e-mailed back, presuming that my head-set speakers were not working correctly and that it was due to in-correct installation. He simply requested, as he had in prior inquires about installation and product info, that I send in my helmet so they could do a "correct" install. I've elected to seek my upgraded head set speakers from another manufacturer.
And we can't wait to show you how it's done!
