Quality product and nice sound. I had to replace my OEM left speaker when I dinged it when installing the dash cover on a prior mod. Hooked it up and enjoyed the new quality sound. No other mods had to be made during the install.
I would be quite embarrased to put my QC sticker on this set of speakers, package came in OK and speakers were wrapped up like new, but there was a cracking noise out of one of the speakers, and the other didn't sound real good itself, absolutely no bass out of speakers what-so-ever. I got a new pair of back speakers as well and had no problem with them. Of course, Wing Stuff will take care of the RMA on the items as usual, but they need to start back charging J&M for putting out this type of product. I know the stereo on the bike is fine when the old speakers work just fine when reinsalled. Thanks Winf Stuff.
All I can say is WOW, what a difference in sound. I have an '07 and they fit perfectly. Don't have to increase volume as much on the highway to enjoy the music. The low and midrange sound is much better. I did soundproof the speaker cabinet to get more drive upfront, kinda took away that empty space sound. Found that soundproofing the OEM rear speaker cabinets also gave alot better sound.
PPS, Well, spoke too soon. J&M refused to replace the speakers citing that they were damaged upon installation. Wish I had known that they wouldn't replace them. Would have saved me the shipping. Will wait for ShowChrome to come out with some front upgrades. In the meantime, the stock Honda speakers were re installed. Funny, didn't have any trouble re installing the originals.
And we can't wait to show you how it's done!
